How do I read a secure message?

Secure messages display in the inbox of your email application and include an attachment named message_zdm.html. The message_zdm.html includes the encrypted content of the message and all attachments.

You must setup your Voltage SecureMail app and create a Voltage SecureMail account before you can read a secure message. For instructions on setting up the Voltage SecureMail app, see How do I set up the application?

The email account where you received the secure mail must be setup with Voltage SecureMail before the message can be decrypted and read. For instructions on adding email accounts to Voltage SecureMail, see How do I add an email account?

To decrypt and read a secure message:

  1. Tap a secure message in your inbox.
  2. Tap the message_zdm.html attachment.
  3. Message_zdm

  4. If you are not already logged into the app, you are prompted to enter your passcode for the Voltage SecureMail Mobile app.
