The Voltage SecureMail Mobile app uses multiple layers of security to protect your Voltage SecureMail Mobile app data, including your keys and authentication tokens. As an integral part of the data security in the app, the app requires you to create a passcode the first time you use it. The app passcode is provided in addition to your password for your Voltage SecureMail account and your device passcode, if you use one.
You are prompted to enter your Voltage SecureMail Mobile app passcode whenever you sign or leave the app idle for more than five minutes.
For maximum security, Voltage Security recommends that you also use the passcode and security features provided on your device.
Note: If you make several incorrect attempts when entering your Voltage SecureMail Mobile app passcode, a warning displays stating that an additional incorrect attempt will cause the app data including your email accounts, to be deleted. Should this occur, you will need to create a new passcode and then return to your inbox and open a secure message to repeat the procedure to create and verify your Voltage SecureMail email account(s).
